How did you find shibaface?

I´m just curious about how some other people found shibaface.
Feel free to share your story of how you found it here!

I found shibaface when I was just looking around on chicken smoothie, I saw it in the recent posts thing on the side of the page, it brought me to the forum ¨shibaface - looking for artists and mods¨ I was excited because I had always wanted to be apart of a website, I made an account for shibaface and applied. I´m so happy I found shibaface, I love this game so much and the community is amazing!

I always check the other websites forum in CS to see if there is anything new to look forward to besides discord and youtube stuff. Shibaface happened to be on the 3rd, 4th page.

Weeeeeell, I created Shibaface sooo...

Here's the story of how SF came to be!
Back in early November I wanted to make a blog for some reason. I don't exactly remember why but I wanted to.

I looked up "how to make a blog" and what was the first result? WordPress!
I made a small blog and HATED the limited customization. I made 3 posts on there and abandoned the whole thing.

If you read through it you'll see me mention learning HTML.
Well, after that final post, I remembered Khan Academy having some computer science courses.

And they had HTML!
So that's how I learned HTML.

Here's one of my early webpages:

Eventually, after I became more confident with HTML, I wanted my own domain. So I tried 000webhost, but their servers were recently attacked and I was one of the affected users. Then, I got an actual domain from Dreamhost, which happened to be shibaface.com.

I installed phpBB that evening and it took numerous tries to get it right. But it worked, and I was happy.
I also added some copy-and-paste adoptables. Very simple HTML stuff right there.

So that was the short history of SF! I'm so happy I've created a small, friendly, and tight-knit community c:

I'm so glad you did <3 I think once pets are linked to accounts, I'll like SF a lot more then CS (and the community here is like 200x better)

I'd totally read it!!

I wish I could, I use to write for an Animal Jam blog till I quit (only a few months ago actually) because I lost interest in AJ, my parents still will not let me and my sister get a blog even though it's literally the same as writing for one? (especially as I was an admin)
