Its. Been one hell of a week. I feel heart broken. I broke someone else's heart.

I told my crush that I couldn't be in a relationship with him (stuff happened), even when I am allowed to date in two, three years. I couldn't see it working out. I did the right thing by putting my emotions and feelings first, but he's not even coming to dance anymore. I'm not even sure if I have feelings for him anymore. I did tell him tho that I still love him, just as friends love friends.

He said he cried. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. He's beating himself up now over what happened, because yeah, it was his fault.

He said he isn't coming to the dance anymore. I messaged him and told him that I really really really want him to come still, although it's understandable if he couldn't come. He can't even look at me without knowing he hurt me and that I don't even like him like that anymore. It's personality that attracts me to someone. With what happened, I just...drifted away from him.

I'm so sad. Thinking of all the things we wanted to do, and then realizing that we'll never do them.

my laptop came in, though. I can work more on adoptables!

I'm so sorry Steve. Obviously I don't know exactly what happened, but someone who I was very close to and we both really liked each other, but it never went anywhere out of fear of it failing, had a similar thing happen. He said something really stupid after kind of drifting away from me for a while before that. We had a huge fight and it all went downhill from there. I had all sorts of plans in my head as well. It was a fun 4 years though! That's what I can suggest, be happy for the time you guys really loved each other, and be thankful for all the fun times. Of course, don't forget what happened, but forgive, right?

Anyways, that was probably an incoherent mess, but whatever

Thank you, guys. I forgave him, but even though I had to for myself, I broke his heart. And it feels terrible. I do a great job of pretending to be happy around my family, but I'm a mess rn.

Update bc why not;; I don't regret it. I'm confident w my choice now. He hasn't even talked to me since Monday, unless it was to ask if I was going someplace he was. I saw him today and I caught him smiling at me a few times but other than that he completely, intentionally avoided me. I'm fine tho, and I'm content now. I feel good tbh
