I think that animals like alligators and turtles are from around the time period, but the animals that we would traditionally call dinosaurs are extinct.

I believe that there were dinosaurs on the Earth but not anymore
I have gotten stuff from an ice cream truck twice, I think. I haven't really had the opportunity to chase one down
