yesterday (i also just woke up), my friend who goes to a different school tried to surprise me with ice cream on my way home from school because i was feeling sad. the thing is: i had taken a sick day, so i wasn’t there to receive it! i was so surprised when my sister called me on her way home after she ran into him trying to give me my ice cream. i feel so bad, but it makes me so happy that he’s doing so much to keep our friendship alive.
